1) BIT4ID
Bit4id is leader in Italy and Spain in developing and
distributing software products and hardwaredevices to
support cryptographic smartcard application (e.g. Digital
Signature, NationalInsurance Number and Electronic
Identity Card).
2) PRODUCT AVAILABILITY
The products offered through the website for online purchase are
typically available in ourwarehouses for immediate delivery.
3) SAFE PAYMENTS
Online payments with credit card take place with Banca SELLA.
4) SELECT PAYMENT METHOD
You can choose your payment method between the following options:

Payment on delivery
1. The payment of the products and the shipment costs must be carried out by the purchaser on the order confirmation
using one of the credit card showed online2. Or else made within 3 working days from the order date if the payment chosen is Bank draft. Bit4id is not responsible for fraud and eventual fraudulent or illicit use that could be made by third parties
with credit card when paying the products. Bit4id will do its best in order to refund its customer victim of a fraud. Credit card payment undergoes the following conditions:

4. Products will be sent to the address specified into the order form;
Bank draft payment undergoes the following condition:
1. The draft has to arrive within 3 working days
from the order's date after which the order will be considered null;
2. on the draft form will be necessary: the order number, order date, name, surname and
company's name (where applicable) the details will be visible on the
web site when ordering.
5) DELIVERY
Bit4id typically process and delivers its products very quickly. Bit4id arranges the shipment within four working days from receiving the order.
Within the EU the delivery time may vary between three working days and seven working days.
6) WARRANTY ACTIVATION
Bit4Id directly supplies a customer care and a technical support service
to be able to provide the best assistance the customer may need. Technical assistance and return policy:1.
In case of malfunctioning the customer has to contact the technical support (via e-mail or fax +39 081 7352517)
explaining in writing the problems encountered. 2. It often happens that the problems are due to a bad operating system configuration or to computer problems, therefore not generated by our hardware. In these cases and in those where no hardware assistance is required the problem will
be resolved via e-mail with the best possible solution even though the disfunction is not
caused by our device. 3.
If there is an hardware problem and it cannot be remotely resolved Warranty condition are veryfied and a case number is issued and given to the customer (return authorization number) for each not-working device. 4.
The customer sends all the not working item (end user must include invoice/receipt where the buying date is
clearly readable). 5.
The case number must be clearly written on the
returning pack. 6.
Shipment costs are at customer charge. 7.
In case of products out of warranty or for those breakdown not covered by warranty, BIT4ID will communicate the estimate to the customer
before carrying out the reparation. Once received confirmation Bit4Id will repair the device. 8.
Usually the time required in order to fix a device is 8 working days. The technical support has to carefully follow the aforesaid procedure. The customer may be charged if is not able to produce the required details.
If BIT4ID does not consider the damages to be covered by warranty the customer will be charged with the reparation costs and
the shipment costs.
7) MINILECTOR'S RELIABILITY
Minilector is the most widespread smartcard reader
in Italy with extensive digital signature application:
Carta d'Identitą Elettronica (Electronic Identity Card), Carta Regionale Servizi
(Services Regional Card), Carte Sanitarie (Health Cards). During the past 5 years problems due to hardware malfunctions are irrelevant. Rare and limited problems arose when the product
was used in context for which it has not been designed and engineered. The MiniLector version offered online is engineered to work indoor into
conventional environment. Warranty ceases if the device is used in environment other than conventional (e.g. indoor offices, schools etc). A landing version is available for continue and extensive use. It could be exposed to extreme climate condition therefore
ideal for outdoor application. It is strongly recommended to order a version with a spare internal contact set(up to 200K insertions per set). The standard contact set can manage up to 100K insertions.
